Asma Khan, the restaurateur behind the award-winning Darjeeling Express, is known for her commitment to diversity, multiculturalism, and social change through food. William Sitwell, a renowned restaurant critic and author of The Restaurant, offers a broad view of how and why we eat, from ancient history to modern times.

Providing unique insights and provocative perspectives on a range of issues – from the rise (and fall) of fine dining to the role of popular culture food media – these two titans of the food industry, alongside influential Australian food writer Jess Ho, are sure to serve a spicy conversation.
