All of our in-person events require a pre-booked ticket. This can be done through the Book Now button on the event page. Tickets may not be available to purchase at the door and so we strongly encourage you to book beforehand. If an event is sold out, please contact us to enquire if a waitlist is available.

For most of our online events, you do need to purchase a ticket (complimentary or paid) to access these online. Detailed information is available on the event page.

The Wheeler Centre regularly partners with external organisations and venues. Due to the partners’ Terms and Conditions, bookings need to be made through their channels. It is essential you book through the third-party provider so that we adhere to guidelines to deliver Covid-safe events.

If you have purchased a ticket for a Postcards From Abroad event, you can access the stream from your wheelercentre.com account in the 'Digital Events' section.

For all other live streamed events, you will find the stream available on the event page or on our YouTube channel.

If you selected PDF tickets, these were sent to you at the time of booking from ticketing@wheelercentre.com. If you are unable to find them, please contact us to have them sent to you again.

If you selected Digital Tickets, these will be available by logging into your Wheeler Centre online account under 'Upcoming Performances'.

The Wheeler Centre does not have a dedicated box office, and we request that bookings be made online via our website. If you have any issues or further queries, please contact our reception on (03) 9094 7809 for assistance. Reception hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Currently, concession entitlement discounts for select paid Wheeler Centre events include the following:

Pensioners: A current Pensioner Concession Card from Social Security or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs must be presented on request.

Seniors: A current government-issued Seniors Card must be presented on request.

Unemployed/Health Card: A current government-issued Health Care card must be presented upon request.

Student/Youth: Student Card identification (including Australian and international student cards) must be presented upon request for students or children aged 17 years and under.

Concessions must be valid at the time of booking. The Wheeler Centre (TWC) may refuse entry to its events when a ticket holder cannot produce a valid ticket or cannot provide proof of a concession entitlement.

Companion Card holders are entitled to 1 complimentary ticket using the Companion Card Holder ticket type.

The Wheeler Centre strives to make our events as accessible as possible. We offer tickets for a selection of our events at a low-cost or as a 'pay what you wish' price. The Wheeler Centre may charge for some events to make them possible, and to ensure we can continue to present an ongoing suite of events at a low or no cost.

We never want cost to be a barrier for anyone to experience events presented by the Wheeler Centre. If you are not in a position to purchase a ticket for a paid event, please contact ticketing@wheelercentre.com with details of your request.

The Wheeler Centre endeavours to uphold ticketing policies that encourage and enable all people to be part of the conversation. In recognition that First Nations communities have historically been marginalised and face ongoing barriers to attendance at arts and culture events, the Wheeler Centre offers First Nations audiences free tickets to selected events. Complimentary tickets for First Nations communities are offered by many arts and cultural organisations across Australia.
