The event page on the Wheeler Centre website will display a ‘Booked Out’ message if the event has been booked to capacity. In these cases we will usually not be able to accommodate walk-ups or a waitlist. Follow us on social media or sign up to our e-newsletter for updates and any late releases.

The Wheeler Centre does not have the resources to run a full-time box office, and we request that bookings be made online via our website. Our booking process is secure – our systems utilise industry-standard encryption – and your credit card details remain completely confidential. If you have any issues or further queries, please contact our reception on (03) 9094 7800 for assistance. Reception hours are 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Wheeler Centre does not have a box office – all advance bookings must be made online via our website.

Please note that phone bookings are undertaken via our website (using a credit card) in exactly the same manner as you might book at home, there is no benefit or advantage in calling to make a booking.

The Wheeler Centre adheres to the Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Events in Australia (see for details).

As such, refunds, cancellations and exchanges will not be offered except as required by law and according to the Code of Practice.

Under special circumstances, and only at the discretion of the Wheeler Centre, a refund may be offered as long as the request for a refund is made no later than 48 hours prior to the event.

While COVID restrictions are in place for live events, if you request a refund due to COVID-19 illness or isolation requirements, every effort will be made to process your refund request as long as it is received prior to the event commencing.

Currently, concession entitlement discounts for select paid Wheeler Centre events include the following:

  • Pensioners: A current Pensioner Concession Card from Social Security or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs must be presented on request.
  • Seniors: A current government-issued Seniors Card must be presented on request.
  • Unemployed/Health Card: A current government-issued Health Care card must be presented upon request.
  • Student/Youth: Student Card identification (including Australian and international student cards) must be presented upon request for students or children aged 17 years and under.

Concessions must be valid at the time of booking. The Wheeler Centre (TWC) may refuse entry to its events when a ticket holder cannot produce a valid ticket or cannot provide proof of a concession entitlement.

You will receive digital tickets for live events you after booking. These will be sent to your email with your order confirmation.

Tickets are not issues for digital events, but you will receive further information (and any unique viewing links) in a confirmation email after booking is complete. In the days leading up to an event you’ve booked for, you will receive a reminder email from containing further information about how to watch.

Occasionally, we partner with organisations and venues that control ticketing for an event. You will need to check your booking confirmation email for the relevant details from these third party organisations.
