About the Event

Dust off your fanciest underwater frock, stylish swimsuit or dashing dancing pants. You’re invited to a morning of crafting, dress-ups, stories and dance fit for a deep-sea diva.

Come dressed as your favourite underwater creature and be prepared to get crafty as you create a fin-tacular ensemble for a merperson with a workshop led by colourful artist Alice Oehr. Then, put your flippers up and relax as our host, fabulous performance artist DANDROGYNY, shares a reading of beloved picture book The Underwater Fancy-Dress Parade. Next, you’re invited to show off your fabulous fashion creations in a special fancy-dress parade.

Finish with a splash and let your inner sea creature shine with a kids-only dance party led by No Lights No Lycra founder and superstar Alice Glenn.
