About the Event

Tomorrow is a Brand-New Day is an uplifting tribute to learning and growing – to making mistakes and making amends. Hard days come and go, but love is with us always.

Set to the sounds of wind and percussion instruments, this new work brings Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys’ charming picture book to life with a score by Alan John. This is the latest in Orchestra Victoria’s series of concerts for families that tell Australian stories through musical adaptions of acclaimed children’s books.

This relaxed, interactive musical storytime invites children to participate in the storytelling and discover the sounds of different musical instruments. Narrated by beloved storyteller Janet McLeod, this is a perfect first musical experience for young people aged 5-8. Young (and young at heart) readers and music-lovers will be singing and dancing all the way home.

Suitable for all ages but recommended for ages 5-8.

Presented in partnership with Orchestra Victoria.
