Our Place in the World

When

Event Status

Writers and theatre-makers may take a unique approach to the world evoked in their works but all can’t help but let the world around them seep into the pores, the cracks, the architecture, the politics, the dialogue even, of each new work.

We talk to a brilliant panel of experts in the field – Görkem AcaroÄŸlu, artistic director of Melbourne Workers’ Theatre, David Greig, Scotland’s leading playwright, Peter Higgin, artistic director of the UK’s innovative promenade company Punchdrunk, and Owen Calvert-Lyons, Creative Learning Manager of London’s Arcola Theatre – about the material world and art.

Malthouse Theatre
