About

British comedian Mark Watson is a beloved regular in Melbourne, having performed over 200 times at more than ten Melbourne International Comedy Festivals.

On this trip, Watson visits the Wheeler Centre for an intimate and inevitably funny discussion about his career as a stand-up comedian, his work as an author, and his latest autobiography-meets-self-help book, 8 Deaths (And Life After Them).

Join Watson for one night only with host Sami Shah as he draws on his personal and professional experiences for an expansive discussion about confronting life’s setbacks, the generative potential of ‘failure’ and the challenges and rewards of a globe-trotting life in comedy.
