About the Event

Ahead of the 2024 AFL season, Collingwood captain Darcy Moore takes to The Wheeler Centre stage.

Alongside veteran broadcaster and passionate Pies fan Patricia Karvelas, Moore will speak candidly about his life and career, both on and off the football field. From Moore’s influence leading a new generation of Collingwood stars to the nail-biting 2023 Premiership victory, to addressing the club’s history of systemic racism, they will also discuss the family legacy he carries as the son of former Collingwood captain Peter Moore, his passion for social issues and his studies in international relations in this wide-ranging conversation.

This is a rare chance to hear from one of the modern era’s most beloved and unconventional champions, on his own terms.
