Tamsin Roberts opened her first gallery in 2005 in Beijing. Now the director of Art Melbourne, previously known as the Affordable Art Fair, she discusses the rise of art within communities, comparing the Asian and Western scenes, and looks at how art infiltrates societies in different cultures. With an ongoing interest in emerging and accessible art, she’s a passionate believer in art being accessible to everyone and asks whether enough is being done in Australia to make this the case.
