Thanks to all who attended the Wheeler Centre’s Gala Night of Storytelling last Friday at the Melbourne Town Hall. The theme was ‘Voices from Elsewhere’ and the night was marked by eight memorable stories told by eight extraordinary storytellers.
Over the coming days we’ll be publishing videos of the stories told by each of our presenters. Yesterday we began with Mem Fox’s fable of the wisdom of a rabbi’s wife. Today we continue with Abha Dawesar’s reflective piece on prophecy, fate and a girl who saves lives. Over the course of today we’ll also be publishing some pictures of the night, so make sure you pop back in later today.
