Revered Australian writer Robert Dessaix casts his self-reflective eye over a writing life brimming with adventure and wisdom.
Robert Dessaix has spent his life devoted to ideas, writing himself into being again and again. A storyteller, memoirist, critic and artist, his creativity knows no bounds, and no one is safe from his pen – least of all him.
Together we celebrate Chameleon, Dessaix’s recent memoir that collects the formative episodes that have shaped and shape-shifted this essential Australian writer.
With host Michael Veitch, Dessaix explores his restless pursuit of pleasure and meaning in a landscape littered with tales of travel, love and curiosity.
