Lili Wilkinson
Lili Wilkinson is the award-winning author of eighteen books for young people, including The Erasure Initiative and After the Lights Go Out. Lili has a PhD from the University of Melbourne, and is a passionate advocate for YA and the young people who read it, establishing the Inky Awards at the Centre for Youth Literature, State Library of Victoria. Her latest book is A Hunger of Thorns.

Carmel Bird is an Australian fiction writer who has written ten novels and six collections of short fiction. Her most recent novel is Child of the Twilight.
She has also edited many collections of essays and short stories, and has written three highly popular books on how to write, the latest being Writing the Story of Your Life. Her most recent publication is the picture book The Fabulous Finola Fox (illustrated by Kerry Argent and published by Penguin).
