Incognito is a formally and thematically ambitious novel exploring the experiences, identity, history and inner life of an émigré refugee. Experimental and challenging, the novel weaves and loops across time and between prose poetry, letters, diary entries and artefacts. Incognito manages to simultaneously straddle the highly specific and the universal, presenting a text that at once feels incredibly relevant to our moment, and like something people have been reading and will continue to read for decades.
