Carriageworks, Track 12

Carriageworks is the largest multi-arts centre in Australia. We support artists and producers to develop and present major new works in performance, visual arts and related artforms. Getting here

Train:

Carriageworks is easily accessible by train. Walk eight minutes from Redfern Station, ten minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station.

Bus:

Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, a five minute walk from Carriageworks.

Bike:

There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks within the Carriageworks precinct.

Parking:

Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street. We encourage taking public transport when possible.

Site access:

An access ramp leading to the main entrance is located at street level at 245 Wilson Street.

Accessible parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street.

Taxis can enter at 229 Wilson Street for level access entry.

The closest train station with wheelchair access is Newtown Station.
