Wren Arkose is a singer-songwriter based in Melbourne, who grew up on Yagara Country. Since relocating to Wurundjeri country in 2016, Wren has become known for their ‘sad girl’ folk music. Their music encompasses processing sadness, working towards healing, and guides the listener to a hope for self-evolution, with storytelling is at the heart of their lyrics. Wren has played on stages at Brunswick Music Festival, Live at the Bowl @ Sidney Myer Music Bowl,Yirramboi Festival, Big Sound, St Kilda Festival and Port Fairy Folk Festival. In 2025 they released their first single ‘Bones’ and released their follow-up track ‘I choose my name’ in July of 2026. Wren's music has been heard on iconic stations such as Triple J, ABC Melbourne, 3KND and Triple R.
