Violet Kieu

Violet is a Vietnamese-Australian writer and Fertility Specialist in Melbourne. She has won a Boroondara Literature Award, and been shortlisted for the Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Award for Narrative Non-Fiction 2024, Moonee Valley Libraries Strange Days Writing Award 2021, and Fellowship of Australian Writers’ Alan Russell Award for Memoir 2020. Violet received the Australian Society of Authors Award Mentorship Program for Adult Narrative Non-Fiction 2019 and has been published in The Intima, Peril, Cha, Complete Sentence, Hektoen International and writes her own Substack at Freeze Fertility.
