Trevor Ashley

About

Writer, musical director, performer and producer Trevor Ashley is often described as ‘the busiest man in Australian show-business’.

He made his musical debut in Priscilla Queen of the Desert – the Musical. Trevor then won accolades for his portrayal of Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, and his performance as Franz Liebkind in The Producers.

With long time collaborator Phil Scott, Trevor has created wildly popular adults-only pantos, Fat Swan and Little Orphan TrAshley. He has appeared in concert nationally and is now world famous for his uncanny female impersonations. Trevor recently took Europe by storm with his show Liza (on an E) with a smash hit season in Austria and a critically acclaimed debut season on the West End. Trevor has just been announced to play the lead role of Thenardier in the Australian production of Les Miserables in 2014.
