Stacey Hamilton is a Proud Wamba Wamba, Ngurai-Illum Wurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung and Wotjobaluk woman. Mother of Seven, Grandmother to 18. Owner/operator of Melbourne’s newest funeral service “Murrenda Memorial Services.”

(Murrenda in Wamba Wamba language means to be alive.)

This is a family lead funeral services which supports families with either, modern, traditional or anything in between. While also focusing on embracing one’s culture, especially being able to provide Aboriginal culturally safe provisions.

Stacey’s background work is all community service based. She is proactive in supporting people with hurdles, that need meaningful hands on practical support. Stacey will happily walk with them and support them through the process rather than send them away to figure it out on their own in the name of empowerment.

Stacey is more than just a funeral director.
