Shahrin Shamim
Shahrin is a writer and producer who has worked with the Australian Theatre for Young People, Sydney Fringe and Melbourne Writers’ Theatre. She has also written editorial pieces for 2ser, PUSH Magazine and Vertigo. Aside from writing, while completing her Bachelor of Arts (Literature)/Laws from UNSW, she worked as an editor on publications for The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia and Disney. As a first-gen Bengali-Australian, her cultural background is incredibly important to her and she hopes to imbue all of her writing with the warmth and complexity that she associates with her heritage.
