Safak Saricicek

Safak Saricicek was born in Istanbul and went to school in Bochum and at the German School in Istanbul. He studied biology and changed to law, received his law degree, and now works as a trainee lawyer at the Regional Court of Mosbach. He has written six books of poetry, the latest in preparation for publication in 2023 under the title of Raumleere Lärmraum. Recipient of various scholarships and prizes, e.g. Heidelberg Writers Prize 2021, Klagenfurter Literaturkurs 2022, Writer in Residence Nanjing 2021.
