Rosalie Ham is a failed rouseabout but a successful writer now based in Melbourne. With sales of over 55,000 copies, her first novel The Dressmaker is now an Australian classic. It is currently under option to Sue Maslin (Japanese Story). Jocelyn Moorehouse (Proof, How to make an American Quilt) will write and direct.
Rosalie has also had stories published in Meanjin, The Age, The Bulletin and Invisible Ink. When she is not writing, Rosalie teaches literature. Her latest novel, There Should Be More Dancing, is published by Random House Australia.
