Richard Price is a novelist, screenwriter, and television creator. His literary novels include The Wanderers, Clockers, Freedomland, Lush Life, and The Whites. His screen writing credits include an Academy Award-nomination for Color of Money, as well as New York Stories, Sea of Love, and Clockers. His television work for HBO includes Emmy-nominated writing for The Wire and The Night Of, as well as The Outsider. He is currently writing a novel about Harlem.
