Reni Louise-Permadi first called herself a feminist when she learnt what the word meant at age nine. In 2017 she joined the Fitzroy High School Feminist Collective, an elective class and student-led safe space.
As a member of the Fem Co, she has been part of writing classes on rape culture, organising and participating in panels and conferences, and building and maintaining a safe environment for other students. Reni is currently in year ten. She plans to work in fashion, exploring and changing gender issues within that industry, and using art as a platform for feminist thought.
