Ramona Koval is a writer, journalist, broadcaster and editor. She is an Honorary Fellow at the centre for Advancing Journalism, University of Melbourne.
From 2006 to 2011 she presented Radio National’s Book Show, and before that a series of ABC Radio programs, including the iconic Books and Writing. She has written for the Age, the Australian, The Saturday Paper and many international literary publications.
She is the author of By the Book: A Reader’s Guide to Life and an editor of Best Australian Essays. Her latest book of interviews, is Speaking Volumes: Conversations with Remarkable Writers. Her most recent book is Bloodhound: Searching For My Father. She is currently working on a book about what it means to be human.
