Portland Jones

Portland Jones is a writer, editor and horse trainer.
She has a PhD in comparative literature and creative writing. Her first novel, Seeing the Elephant, was shortlisted for the TAG Hungerford Award and was published in 2016. Portland has taught creative writing at university level and lectures in equine behaviour at Murdoch University. She is currently working on a second novel as well as a horse training book for young riders. She blogs about the science of horse training at sustainableequitation.com.au
