Michael Sala

Michael Sala is a Newcastle-based writer and the author of the novel The Last Thread.

Michael was born in the Netherlands in 1975 and moved to Australia in the 1980s. He now lives in Newcastle with his wife and children. Michael was shortlisted for the prestigious Australian/Vogel Literary Award and three of his stories have appeared in The Best Australian Stories. His stories have also appeared in Kill Your Darlings and HEAT.
