Meenakshi Shedde

Meenakshi Shedde is an independent film curator based in Mumbai. She is Senior Programme Advisor, South Asia for Toronto International Film Festival, and curated programs for Berlin Film Festival from 1998–2025. She has been a jury member of the Cannes, Berlin and Venice film festivals, including a jury member of the Cannes Film Festival’s Semaine de la Critique in 2023. She was also a Golden Globes International Voter in 2023, and is a member of the Asia Pacific Screen Academy. She has been a script mentor and consultant on script labs and film funds for Sundance, Venice Biennale College Cinema, Hubert Bals, Asia Pacific Screen Lab and the Asia Pacific Screen Academy. A journalist and critic, she is also the curator for 'Indian Indigenous Film: Cinema from the Margins' for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in 2026.
