About

Twenty-two years ago, in their mid-twenties, Matt and his partners bought and renovated their first pub. Twelve pubs later, the Sand Hill Road group own and operate some of Melbourne’s best-loved boozers, including the Espy, the Garden State Hotel, Richmond Club, Prahran, Bridge and Terminus Hotels. On the side, Sand Hill Road Pictures produced a feature documentary called Kanyini, about respected Indigenous Elder Bob Randall, which played in cinemas around the country, and the short film Minnie Loves Junior, which won awards at the Berlin, LA and New York Film festivals. Matt writes a regular column for hospitality industry magazine -Venue.
