Maria O’Sullivan

Maria O’Sullivan is an Associate Professor and a Deputy Director of the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law. Maria is the author of a number of international and national publications on the subject of human rights, public law and refugee law. 

Maria is currently undertaking research on the right to protest and is working on a series of projects relating to automation, artificial intelligence and government decision-making. She is a regular media commentator on human rights and public law and has been published in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Conversation.
