Laurie Dwyer

Laurie ‘Twinkle Toes’ Dwyer is a VFL/AFL legend who played 201 games for North Melbourne between 1956 and 1970. He was twice runner up in the Brownlow Medal, and was selected on the wing in North Melborune’s Team of the Century. Dwyer’s father played in North’s first ever VFL match in 1925, and his sons David and Anthony played for the club too. He is a natural storyteller and icon of Australian rules.
