Kate Thorburn
About
Kate is the Wheeler Centre’s Marketing and Communications Manager.
For the past four years she has led the media and social media programs at national conservation not-for-profit Bush Heritage Australia.
Kate first cut her teeth as a journalist; first at a newspaper in Swan Hill, Victoria then at a trade publication in London. This experience, coupled with a lifelong love of books and reading, means she understands the power of a really good yarn and the potential for stories to change hearts and minds.
