Kanika Chopra

Kanika is an avid reader, writer, and the creator of More than Melanin, a literary publication by and for people of colour and Bla(c)k folks from the LGBTQIA+ community. They are an arts worker, having worked across a number of literary festivals, namely the Emerging Writers' Festival, Blak and Bright, and National Young Writers' Festival. Previously she has written for South Asian Today, Colournary and Aniko press. After taking a break from their creative practice to focus on arts work, Kanika is back to writing and is currently working on a novel.
