Jumaana Abdu is currently working on her debut novel, which was a finalist for the 2022 Ray Koppe/ASA Young Writer’s Fellowship. As a Wheeler Centre Next Chapter fellow, she has completed a writer’s residency at Varuna. Her work has been published in Kill Your Darlings, The Griffith Review, Overland, and The Sydney Morning Herald. During the day, she is a junior medical doctor.
