Jon Von Goes is a broadcaster, musician, RocKwiz Brains Trust member, registered Australian civil celebrant and captain of the RRR/PBS Megahertz Football Club.

He had a dream many years ago that Australians would one day write about being Australian without self-consciousness, that Australian characters in literature and film would cease to be caricatures and that one day it would not be mandatory for Australian stories to be quirky.

He thinks his dream has started to come true.
