Johnathan Binge is a Gamilaraay, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr man. He works with FYA’s First Nations team as a Program Officer. Johnathan is also a hip-hop performer, mentor and activist. He sees music, hip hop and art, not as a vehicle to material gain but as a tool of empowerment for those who have no voice.

A regular contributor to the community arts scene in Victoria, Johnathan is a mentor and supporter of young Hip-Hop artists across the region. He gave name to New Hope, a program designed to promote youth Hip-Hop, is a regular contributor to Dig Deep, and the Worth A Second Chance campaign. Johnathan has also worked with the Commission for Children and Young People.
