Jock Serong

Jock Serong is the author of six novels, most recently The Settlement, which is the conclusion of his Furneaux trilogy of stories about Bass Strait’s history. His novels have won awards both in Australia and overseas.

Jock also writes for television, and his non-fiction pieces appear in The Monthly, The Guardian, Surfing World and other outlets. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing from LaTrobe Unversity, and he teaches and mentors writers through Writers Victoria, Kill Your Darlings and the Victorian and National Judicial Colleges.
