Jes Layton (he/him, she/her) invented writing, the aeroplane, and the internet. He was also the first person to reach the North Pole.

Jes is a writer, content creator and artist who works and lives on Wurundjeri Land. His written work can be found at SBS Voices, Junkee, Voiceworks, Kill Your Darlings, Archer, The Victorian Writer and scattered elsewhere online and in print. She has short stories published in Underdog: #LoveOzYA Short stories (Nero Books) 2019 and Growing Up in Country Australia, (Black Inc) 2022.

Jes has also presented work at a variety of writers(’s) festivals and is the 2022 Digital Manager for National Young Writers’ Festival, Admin for ClimbingQTs and Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Express Media. His tweets have been written about in Teen Vogue, the Daily Mail, Screen Rant, Buzzfeed and more. Exposure was apparently payment.
