Jaye Kranz

Jaye Kranz is a Melbourne-based writer, documentary radio producer and musician.
She’s published short stories, a novella and occasional non-fiction and also writes for film. Jaye’s documentary radio features have aired on ABC Radio National and the BBC and her non-fiction has appeared in the Monthly. In 2012 and 2014, she was the host, producer and creative director of The Radio Hour, the sell-out live non-fiction radio storytelling event for the Melbourne Writers Festival in partnership with ABC RN.
As writer and frontwoman of Melbourne musical act Brighter Later, she has supported the likes of Martha Wainwright and Calexico (USA) and has been nominated for the Australian Music Prize.
