Jason Ball


Jason Ball is a social entrepreneur and LGBTIQ advocate best known for his work tackling homophobia in the AFL. Jason’s story was the inspiration behind the AFL’s Pride Game between St Kilda and Sydney and his start-up non-profit organisation Pride Cup promotes LGBTIQ inclusion in community sport. Jason is an ambassador for beyondblue and in 2017 was named Young Australian of the Year for Victoria. At this year’s federal election Jason will be standing for the second time as the Greens candidate in the inner-city seat of Higgins.
