Jamire Williams

From the abstract mind of world-renowned drummer Jamire Williams, ERIMAJ is a progressive new band stirring up the scene. Their first break onto the stage was in 2010 with their underground EP release Memo To All. This was a project that not only displayed Williams as a leader but it demonstrated his production abilities as well.

Known for his work as drummer for artist like Dr. Lonnie Smith, Christian Scott and Robert Glasper, Williams has also performed and recorded with the likes of John Mayer and electro dance band Cubic Zirconia. He has set out to make ERIMAJ a genuine blend of all these experiences.

The New York Times describes it as ‘music … properly new, part of something larger, and still unnamed.’ Spearheaded by the collaborative writing style of Williams and Corey King, the band recently released the critically acclaimed Conflict Of A Man, which debuted at number one on iTunes Jazz Top Chart.
