Jacqueline Williams is Head of Development at the Wheeler Centre who in past lives has been a teacher of literature, children’s librarian, philanthropy consultant and Varuna Writers Fellow.

As a passionate fundraiser, Jacqueline believes that giving is the best expression of any relationship and has dedicated most of her career to securing philanthropic support for the arts and education sectors. Jacqueline was Philanthropy and Bequest Manager for Melbourne Recital Centre, Senior Development Manager for Heide Museum of Modern Art, and Capital Campaign Manager for independent schools in Victoria and Western Australia.

Graduating from postgraduate studies in Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne, Jacqueline is happiest when immersed in an innovative, collaborative environment. She rests in books, Spanish soap operas and daydreams of Paris every single day.
