About

Holly Childs is a writer, editor (Crazy in Love magazine) and artist. She makes work around digital semiotics, transformations of language and culture, aberration, fashion. Her first novella No Limit will be released by Hologram in April 2014.

Her writing has appeared in Going Down Swinging, Overland, Endless Lonely Planet, Polar, Magasine.

Currently writing: fiction set in Docklands, working title something like ‘Cloudbow-Powerade’; a opus text, holy hela, collaboratively written over the internet and in IRL tropical locations with Max Trevor Thomas-Edmond; and a reinterpretation of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet superimposed over a mall in Adelaide.

She has participated in National Young Writers Festival, Digital Writers Festival, Electrofringe, Sound Summit, Centre For Style readings and the Surfers’ Paradise net art residency program.
