Grace Coff

Grace Coff is a young Yorta Yorta woman raised on Djara Djara country. Currently she works for Nalderun, a first nation’s organisation. During her year 12 Grace was inspired to start a group supporting the young women and non-bionary students in her community. With the hope to create a safe space for them to take up space in the community and world.

Country is extraordinarily important to Grace. At 14 she wrote and published a short story depicting her strong connection to Country. As well as shearing her experiences as a pale-skinned aboriginal teen in central Victoria.

Acknowledgment of Country

The Wheeler Centre acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional owners of the land on which we work. We pay our respects to the people of the Kulin Nation and all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, past and present.
