Glenn Moore

About

Glenn Moore is an academic at La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne with a research emphasis on American labour and the American labour movement.

Glenn completed a Masters at Penn State University, and his PhD at the University of Melbourne. He has lectured at the Australian National University, the University of Western Australia, and currently at the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University. His research has been focussed mostly on work and unions in America, and he has made regular appearances on radio WERE Cleveland discussing the plight of working people today.

Glenn’s most recent work deals with the craft of teaching, with articles in the Australian and New Zealand American Studies Association journal, and the Japanese journal Ekleksographia. Glenn followed Barack Obama’s career since his senate days. Although in the lead-up to the 2008 presidential election he publicly predicted a Hilary Clinton victory, Glenn continues to lecture on Obama. He is making no predictions about results in 2012.
