Gavin McIntyre

Gavin McIntyre is the co-founder and Director of Business Development of Ecovative. Ecovative is a biomaterials company that leverages fungal mycelium to create disruptive solutions for our planet’s most pressing problems. 

McIntyre is an inventor on most of the company’s patented technologies, and seeks to foster sustainable business partnerships to extend the reach of these new biomaterial platforms. He’s an active mentor to technology start-up throughout the United States, and serves on the boards of several organisations that are focused on pollution prevent. He received a dual B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
