Gail Dines

About

Dr Gail Dines is professor of sociology and women’s studies at Boston’s Wheelock College. Her work focuses on the hypersexualisation of culture and the way porn filters into pop culture. Her latest book is Pornland: How Porn Has Hijacked Our Sexuality.

Gail is an internationally acclaimed speaker and author, and a feminist activist. Her work on media and pornography has appeared in academic journals, magazines, newspaper, radio and TV across the globe.

She is a recipient of the Myers Center Award for the Study of Human Rights and a founding member of Stop Porn Culture.
