Emily Harms is Head of Marketing and Communications at the Wheeler Centre. Prior to this, Emily was Head of Marketing and Communications for Melbourne’s pre-eminent independent bookseller, Readings, since 2005.
Emily’s background in marketing and communications extends to working for a marketing agency in the arts and cultural sector in London for a couple of years. Prior to that she worked at Mollison Consulting for several years looking after arts and cultural clients in Melbourne, then at the Australian Film Institute (AFI) and Playbox Theatre – where she managed the launch and transition to Malthouse Theatre. Emily is currently on the board of Rollercoaster Theatre, a not-for-profit ensemble of trained actors with disabilities and is an Arts and Cultural Advisory committee member for Kingston Arts. She was also on the Committee of Management for La Mama Theatre in Carlton from 2010-2013.
