Eloise Grills is a writer and comics artist from Melbourne. She writes and illustrates her column, Diary of a Post-Teenage Girl, for Scum Magazine, where she over-shares about her life for strangers on the internet. As soon as she started drawing naked self-portraits her parents stopped reading her work, which she thinks means she has made it.
Her work has been published in lots of places but more specifically in CHART Collective, SPOOK Magazine, The Lifted Brow, Overland, The Suburban Review, The Age, Junkee, Peephole Journal, 4:3, Filmme Fatales and Killings.
In 2015 Eloise was selected to participate in MIFF’s Critics Campus, writing film reviews for MIFF and the Age. She has performed and appeared at some festivals, including White Night, the Emerging Writer’s Festival, Girls Write Up, and at NYWF.
