David Wenham has received critical acclaim for his diverse performances in film, theatre and television.
He is one of Australia’s most respected actors and has appeared in two of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings instalments, Oranges and Sunshine, Baz Luhrmann’s Australia with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Public Enemies, alongside Johnny Depp, 300, Moulin Rouge, Cosi, Gettin’ Square, The Proposition, The Bank and The Boys.
But he is perhaps best known to Australian audiences as the lovable Diver Dan in the ABC series Seachange. His recent television credits include Killing Time, Dripping in Chocolate and Jane Campion’s Top of the Lake.
