Courtney Hagen

About

Courtney is a proud Butchulla and Gubbi Gubbi woman from the Southern Sunshine Coast region in Queensland. Courtney has been involved in many community engagement roles in sport as is currently an Indigenous Engagement Specialist at Cricket Australia. Her work and advocacy for marginalised groups in community sport also earned her a nomination as Out Role Model of the Year at the 2021 Australian Pride in Sport Awards.

Courtney was also recently the inaugural participant in Siren Sport’s Emerging Sports Writer Program and produced an extensive, high-level body of work covering diverse sports and voices for publication on Siren.
