Chloe Alison Escott is a musician, writer and comedian from Hobart. She made her standup debut in 2004, made her standup debut again in 2009, and then, after finally correcting a decades-long gender error, made her standup debut once more in 2015. Her career highlights that sound best in a short bio and aren’t just ‘a very good set that went well’ include the Raw Comedy national final in 2010; her monthly new standup and sketch show ‘Pinball at Hanging Rock’ throughout 2012; her experimental sound/comedy piece ‘You Sit Facing Forward at the Museum of Art’, commissioned by Liquid Architecture in 2017; her touring anxiety breakdown/anxiety salve ‘Noise Show, with Puzzles’ in 2017; and her controversial appearance at a panel discussion on experimental and hybrid comedy forms at the Wheeler Centre in 2020.
